Rural charm and good food for a very reasonable price. The owner family is super nice. We got a free ice coffee and (amazingly tasty) pineapple for free...

Quirky not to mention rustic eatery. Yaeyama soba was tasty, but maybe the owner was having a bad day or something... didn't come across anywhere near as friendly as the other reviews. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one...

島を離れる前に空港近くという事もあり立ち寄る。 畑の中にポツンとあるイメージのお店。 実は来島初日に寄ったが昼営業の直後という事で入れなかった。 ご覧の通り、建物は良い意味で「掘っ立て小屋感」満載。 店内もコストをかけずに造った感が溢れていて、逆に八重山に来た感を醸し出してくれているが、天井にはキチンと天カセのエアコンが設置されている。 この日も前に色々食べたので、普通に「そば(中)」をオーダー。 500円という良心的なお値段設定で逆に少し不安はあったが、スープも麺もシッカリ美味しい八重山そばでした！ 食後にはアイスコーヒーをサービスしてくださり、なんともコスパの高さを噛みしめながら退店。 また機会があればチャンプルー類...

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one though. 田舎な飯屋。八重山そばは美味しかったけど、他のレビューを書いてあったことに比べたら、何かフレンドリーじゃない感じだった。けっこう遅い時間に行ったから今日だけかな?
