I would skip this experience. Look up bird hotspots on eBird instead and go by yourself. The ad says “in comfort” but I was not expecting to be in the car for the entire journey. I was so car sick in the first 10 minutes we needed to go home. They said they could come back to pick us up, but why would you want to get back in the vehicle that is making you so sick because of the smell/air/motion. So we were not even out for an hour but he kept ALL of the money. Maybe that’s normal here in Japan but he even kept our lunch money. I think it’s weird to not offer anything back. Especially if it was the fault of their car and not telling us clearly before it would be completely in the car. I was not expecting such a big language barrier (we hired the guide so we could learn, but you can’t communicate at all with them unless you speak Japanese). We would have just gone by ourself and saved the 24,000¥. Skip this experience and look on eBird. You can see the birds you want to see and where other people have seen them. This will give you a better experience and save you...

Loves seeing the birds of ishigaki and even a collared Kingfisher❤️. It was just thrilling for me. I didn’t know how many birds we would see from the car, but I was wrong we saw lots of different birds I have never seen before. Our guide took us to a restaurant where we paid our way and the food was delicious. If you enjoy watching birds this is for you! Too bad I am forgetful and I left my camera in the guides car. Hopefully we can arrange to taxi it back to me...

今回ご案内いただいた小林さんは、とても専門的で、しかも細やかなご配慮をしてくださいました。 本日のツアーには、初めて体験する全くの初心者の私と、豊富な経験を持つバードウォッチング・写真撮影のベテランの方が参加していましたが、小林さんは見事に私たち双方のニーズに応えてくださいました。

また、私が流暢な日本語で会話できなくても、小林さんは図鑑や翻訳を使って、観察中の鳥について頻繁に丁寧な説明をしてくださいました。

さらに、小林さんは本当にすごい方で、車を運転しながらも横の森や林にどんな鳥がいるかを見逃さず、観察中に鳥がなかなか見つからない時にも、非常に根気強く探すサポートをしてくださいました。

このように、約8時間にも及ぶ充実した活動で、料金はわずか1万数千円と、大変お得で価値ある体験でした！

而儘管我無法用流利的日文溝通，小林先生也不吝以圖鑑跟翻譯，頻繁得做目前觀賞的說明。

加以小林先生真的相當厲害，能夠在邊開車的同時，邊留意到一旁哪裡有鳥類，且如果觀賞時找不到，小林先生也十分耐心得協助引導。
