July 6, 2017 was a cloudy and rainy day in Oshigaki. When I felt hungry and saw that signs of the restaurant, I drove in. It was very busy as a tour group was having lunch. I was alone and waited to be served. The items on the menu were ordinary and so were the price. I chose a dried fish set for Y1000. The food was definitely fast. Whether the view was superb would depend on the weather. It was quite grey to me that day although I was not soaked.

2022年11月訪問。バスツアーの昼食会場でした。まずまずよかったのではないかと思います。素朴な感じではありましたが、全体的に味付けが落ち着いていて（料理上手なお母さんの家庭料理みたいな感じ）、悪い印象はなかったです。印象に残ったのはオオタニワタリ… 参加した人みんなそうだったらしく食べ終わった後仲間同士で「あれなんだろう」っていってるグループがいっぱいいました。そしてツアーのガイドのその後の説明で「え！？」ってなるのがお約束・・・なのかな？まあ、昔（30年位前？）、ワラビに発がん性があるとかTVで言われたことがあって一時ピタッとみんなワラビを取りに行かなくなったことがあったのを思い出しました。

ここは観光バスで連れて行ってくれた団体向けのレストラン🍽️ 石垣島の自然に囲まれたのんびり牧場と東シナ海を見渡せるパノラマオーシャンビューなレストラン🍽️だが急に雨☔😂 「ポーザとは・・・」八重山の方言で料理人や厨房を仕切る人のこと言うらしいです⤴️ ◆八重山そば定食 ◆オリオンビール🍺 八重山そばはソーキそばのスペアリブと違って、かまぼこと細く切られた豚肉が香ばしくて美味しかった✨ 是非、石垣島に来たら食べて味店🎶

八重山かまぼこ (Yaeyama Kamaboko)

九州・沖縄地方沖縄県の地域ブランド。白身魚(ブダイ類)を主要な原材料として石垣島で加工されたかまぼこ。石垣島を中心とする島々を総称して八重山というが、その近海の白身魚が材料として用いられる。生地に混ぜる卵は全卵を使用するのが主流。 2008(平成20)年2月、特許庁の地域団体商標に登録された。出典 | 日外アソシエーツ「事典日本の地域ブランド名産品」

豚のあばら骨や肉の事を指します。いわゆるスペアリブにあたる部分を本ソーキ。軟骨がある部分を軟骨ソーキなどと呼びます。

ミミガー (Mimiga Okinawan Dish Of Pig Ears)

「ミミガー」とは豚の「耳」のことで、軟骨状でコリコリッとした食感で人気です。また軟骨なのでコラーゲンもたっぷりで女性にも人気です。沖縄方言で「ミミ」は耳で「ガー」は皮の意味です。ちなみに似たような部位で「チラガー」と言う部位があります。「チラ」はツラ、つまり顔の皮のことです。
