ALOALO CAFE — Restaurant in Ishigaki

Been travelling Japan for 6 weeks and the first time I leave a place feeling ripped off and disrespected. The curry had two tiny slices of beef and two tiny pieces of vegetable. The rest was a bowl of sauce. Similarly my partner ordered the beef sandwhich. It came with two thin nearly non existent pieces of beef. 1100 yen. We flagged a staff member to request more beef in the sandwhich but they said it would cost extra. The staff was laughing about the sandwhich as they were making it in the back because they knew it was ridiculous. Very bad experience. Go down the road for soba for full combo set...

Cutsy Cafe on the waterfront side. The view for outside seating is lovely. There many tables outside for you to enjoy view. They have indoor tables as well. They have a coffee and juice menu. Simple menu. Highly recommend the ishigaki beef curry!!! I preferred the naan bread over rice! Worth a stop as you're exploring the area.

Takes credit card. Parking is on site but limited. Can park on the side of the street too. Staff spoke some English. Menu in English...

Beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere, good service and great hostess. They have outdoor seating which makes for a cool backdrop for your Snapchat/IG. Located very close to the water, thus on a hot day you get the cool breeze from bay. Food was quickly served and tasted delicious. They also have accommodations near the property by the same name Aloalo. Not sure how those reservations works. You can also book different activities (snorkeling, paddling,...
