I’ve had Ishigaki beef before and this was just… subpar. It was very normal, not that fatty, kind of chewy, yet still 9600 yen for 200g. My friend and I weren’t sure if we were hallucinating or our standards are too high. Also, only the shoyu sauce was tasty, the barbecue and ponzu sauce didn’t really fit the flavor. Wasabi wasn’t high quality either. Pretty disappointing compared to the Google and Tabelog ratings.
