I’ve had Ishigaki beef before and this was just… subpar. It was very normal, not that fatty, kind of chewy, yet still 9600 yen for 200g. My friend and I weren’t sure if we were hallucinating or our standards are too high. Also, only the shoyu sauce was tasty, the barbecue and ponzu sauce didn’t really fit the flavor. Wasabi wasn’t high quality either. Pretty disappointing compared to the Google and Tabelog ratings. We also got the Gurukun karaage which was okay.

Fabulous Ishigakijima steak ever! This is one of the best Japanese steak that I have had in my life. Four of us, the adults shared one 200g sirloin steak and another 200g ribeye steak and some small dishes. That’s all good for us! Of course you can order more if ur a big eater. I always think that a little bit gives you the best taste.

Ishigaki steak was below par and ¥9000!! The lobster sauce was horrible, it tasted like the smell of a freshly bleached toilet (only way I can describe it) + lobster was overcooked. A meal for 2 people with no alcohol came to ¥23320, and we ended up leaving most of it. Awful.
