Hotel Royal Marine Palace — Hotel in Ishigaki

I immediately tried to cancel this hotel when I checked in. It is NOT a hotel. It is just an air bnb room with awful molded smell and staffs have very rude attitudes, and it cost us around $300 night without any lobby boys serves you, bring baggages to the room. I tried to call hotel front and explained this was unexpected, almost fraud, scam, showing us fake photos though they kept saying that they never would pay me back our cancellation fee. I finally contacted Expedia and explained and they arranged no cancellation fee, but not for the amount of the day we checked-in. They never apologized, never changed the attire, and I strongly suggest that you should AVOID this air bnb room, oops i mean "hotel" in their definition....

This hotel is located a good 3 km outside of town. The bus goes every two hours so unless you have a car you can get nowhere fast. There is no pool and the beach cannot be used for swimming. There are no other activities in the hotel so unless you plan to do all you activities outside the hotel I would not recommend it. ||||The rooms are huge by Japanese standards, more like a small apartment. They are nice enough so no complains there. ||||Breakfast is the normal Japanese stuff so not worth it. Staff is as helpful as they can be, but speak no English whatsoever so do not expect any actual help unless you can converse...

Staff is nice Room is big But … room is clearly old feel like enter in 60’s appartement change in hotel room Hole in the wall, some door of the shelf is broken not fix anymore, color of bathroom / toilet is turn yellow … As we was with our kid she enjoy walking around our room , 2ldk but way too expensive for the standard. We stay 3 more days due to typhon and decide a last minute booking so...
