Sushi Haru — Restaurant in Ishinomaki

It's one of the few sushi places open in the afternoon since most sushi restaurants in the area are closed between lunch and dinner.

I went with my wife and it was great and the service was amazing.

The chef and his son were such a delight and lucky for us it wasn't too busy so the son had time to go through everything we were being served. Even though there was a language barrier, the posters they had and a translator app helped a lot.

Great food great service and experience. It was the first time we tried so many different types of sashimi and nigiri since it was my first omakase experience. Everything tastes great.

Sitting at a low table was a fun experience too and much more comfortable...

親子でやっているお店です。威勢の良い感じではなく、柔和なお店です。 地元石巻の他、塩釜で仕入れた新鮮な魚介類で何を頂いても美味しいです。 しゃりとネタの大きさのバランスが丁度よいです。デカ過ぎず小ささ過ぎず。 蒸し蚫もウニもいくらも美味しいですが、オススメは筋子の細巻きです。
