Came here for lunch on a Wednesday at around 1210pm- the resto was steady busy and it took about 45 mins to serve our food. The fish tasted fresh, and the nigiri size are slightly bigger than normal So it was quite filling! Their fish soup was very good and flavourful. I got some noodles with mine and they were a bit mushy but all in all it was a good lunch.

A bit of a drive from Hakuba but the food is worth it. As this area is close to the sea the sushi and fish served is fresh as. I and my friend had a teishoku dinner, a Japanese term for a set meal, pickles. Miso soup, rice. main course. This is a keeper.

糸魚川駅から一駅となりの駅前にある居酒屋。居酒屋とは言いましても、ランチもディナーもお酒抜きにしても普通に美味しいお魚をいただくことができるお店です。カウンター席と座敷席とありお一人様もグループもどちらもウエルカムな感じです。予約なしの飛び込みで入りましたが、連休でなければ普通にサクッと入れそうな感じ。 入口の玄関をくぐると、なんとなく2Fに行ってしまいそうな雰囲気が醸し出されますが、正解は左手の少し開けにくそうな引き戸を開けるのが正解。そっちが店内です。 ここのお店のポイントは新鮮な地魚を刺身盛り定食や海鮮丼、握りでお腹いっぱいいただくことができるということ。刺し身盛り定食をいただきましたが、季節のネタはとても新鮮、つやつやのプリプリで美味しくいただけた。煮魚（この時はカレイ）と小鉢もついて汁物はブリのアラ汁でした。アラ汁もアジが濃くとてもおいしかった。座席にある固定のお醤油もちゃんと管理されていて変な味がしないのでお刺身も安心して食べれる。 ちなみに定食ですが刺身盛り定食は刺し身盛り盛り、漁場定食は小鉢やら揚げ物やらバラエティ重視らしい。どれも美味しそうで迷う。量も多く、お米も流石米どころ新潟ということで美味しく良かった。強いて言うならば、カウンター付近の座席は厨房から揚げ物の油の匂いが漂ってきて服と体が油臭くなったのが唯一のがっかりポイント。それでも糸魚川名物のゲンゲ（玄魚）の揚げ物は1度は食べておいたほうが良いと思う。酒の肴に最高ですよ。 駐車場はお店の前に5台ほど駐車可能。お会計はクレジットが使えます。連休でもなんでもない土曜日の夕方5時ちょっと過ぎ、開店間もない時間帯にお邪魔しましたが、すでに数組、店内でワイワイガヤガヤされていたのでそれなりに人気店なのだと思う。

Wow! This sushi blew my mind. No English menu or English speaking staff, but the crab legs and shrimp are sublime. Was recommended to us by a worker in the GeoPal center in the train station.
