OCEAN VIEW RESTAURANT “REIR” — Restaurant in Itoman

Stayed here 2 nights, and have dinner buffet on second night. Unexpectedly I found many crabs. They tasted good, but it's very hard to deal with them without scissors. So I just try some and turned to other targets. Quite lots of food varieties, and many Okinawa local foods. Agu pork shabu shabu with dandan soup was my top one choice. Hotel breakfast buffet was also held in this restaurant. However, breakfast buffet was so so, may be too many people downgraded the quality, but dinner buffet was totally different. I arrived around 1:30 pm, with a full hour and a half left before closing. However, most of the food trays—especially in the meat and seafood sections—were either empty or had only a few scraps left. I started with some salad and soup, expecting the main dishes to be replenished soon. But even after 10 minutes, the trays looked the same, if not worse, with even less food available.

Amazing service! Food was wonderful though pricey. The bill was over $90 for the two of us. We had 2 non-alcoholic drinks and dinner. No dessert. The view of the ocean was beautiful! Our server was very attentive and obviously took great pride in herself and her career. I would highly recommend the restaurant for a special evening...
