Wonderful discovery in this part of town. The fish & ingredients are the freshest- & prepared with panache & skill by chef & owner Anano Hisanori-san in front of you. Beautiful, simple & delicious food. You should linger here, to savour the tastes. Edit: a previous review said only raw fish is on the menu- this may have changed as we had grilled oysters & steamed fish with rice, lovely delicate flavours, recommended!

I ate the grilled sea bream and sashimi. It was quite delicious. The owner was a magician in the small kitchen, making wonderful food. He welcomed me even though I’m not a local. I will definitely be coming back. It was a great value.

Hidden gem alert!!!! An izakaya master chef hidden in a secluded spot and showcasing the best produce of Itoshima. We had a wonderful Oishi meal. Hirami 3 course, Clam steam rice!! Superb ingredients, superb cooking skills. So content…..🤤
