I have slowly been making my way through all of Iwakuni's Indian-Nepali restaurants. I would have to say my experience at Devi was good overall. The two items I ate were the Tikka Kebab and the Plain naan. The naan was cooked nicely, with a dark brown bottom and good amount of butter slathered on the top. The bottom of the bread was cooked so that the naan had a good amount of crunch whenever I bit into it. I would have liked to see a bit more browning to the top of the naan but it was tasty. The tikka kebab was good as well. I thought it was very tender and spices were pretty standard for Indian shops in this area. I thought the added vegetables on top of the chicken was a nice touch. I would have liked the meat to be a little more browned that mine was. One thing that the competitors to Devi do that I would like to see is serving a small side salad with the chicken. It would also be nice to see the oshibori served in plastic wrappers, for hygiene purposes. Other than those two small squabbles, I think Devi Indian is a very good restaurant that I would visit again when in the area.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Iwakuni! Food and service are both always good! The lunch set is very reasonable. For ¥800 you get to choose a curry, a naan bread, and it comes with a little salad. We also order some chicken to add to our meal. Today we ordered takeout and everything was yummy as usual! They take credit cards.

A good spot for Indian food with the right spice kick. The staff was welcoming, and there’s plenty of space whether you’re with friends or dining alone. My only gripe was the portion-to-price ratio on the curry bowls, which felt a little small for the cost. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience overall.

The staff is very friendly and fast, and also speak english. There is prking available on site.

The menu is in English and they have a spicy scale that give you actual spice and pow! With a painful scale that goes 9-15.

The menu has dinner sets, including a kids set that is perfect kid size.

The interior is decorated nicely and very clean. Such a pleasant environment.

Food is delicious and served hot! They will bag left overs and take out is ok too.

Cash and Card are both accepted forms of...

Really friendly staff, delicious food, good lunch specials, and endless naan. They have a limited amount of seating (though we have had a group of twenty before), but they also have bar seating (no alcohol though). Everything I have had (different curries, samosa, tandoori chicken, various naan) have all been good. The staff is very friendly and always around if you need something and often times the staff and cooks will personally say hello/goodbye and thank you as we...
