A Fowl Disappointment: Uncooked Center Mars an Otherwise Promising Fried Chicken

Yesterday, I found myself recounting an unfortunate incident at Joyfull, where their otherwise promising からげ fell short due to a glaring flaw: an uncooked center.

I eagerly ordered this as it looked tempting by looking at their photo, expecting a golden-brown, crispy exterior with juicy, tender meat within. Regrettably, my anticipation was met with disappointment as I discovered a disconcerting flaw in their execution.

While the outer layer offered a commendable crunch, the joy was short-lived as I encountered an unexpectedly undercooked center. The contrast between the raw and cooked parts was jarring, leaving an unpleasant taste and texture in my mouth.

The uncooked center of the fried chicken not only compromised the overall taste but also raised concerns about FOOD SAFETY. It is crucial for any restaurant to ensure that poultry is cooked thoroughly, eliminating any risk of bacterial contamination. Unfortunately, JOYFULL fell short in upholding this fundamental aspect of food preparation. 👎

In fairness, it is important to acknowledge the positive aspects of my dining experience at Joyfull. The ambiance was inviting, the service attentive, the sausage and fries tasted good, and the presentation of the fried chicken was "kinda" appealing. Additionally, the flavor of the properly cooked portions displayed hints of the restaurant's potential to deliver an outstanding dish. Nevertheless, these merits were overshadowed by the critical flaw in their execution.

A comida estava saborosa, eu daria 5 estrelas se não fosse por um constrangimento ocasionado por minha esposa perceber uma pequena barata passeando sobre a bandeija que continha o seto que foi servido para minha filhinha, mostrei imediatamente para uma garçonete, cuja aparentemente somente trocou a bandeija, não havia motivos para rejeitar a comida, apesar de termos ficado para jantar, quase me levantei para ir embora, pois, este fator ocasionou um pouco de constrangimento, pela sensação de ter sido servido contendo uma pequena barata passeando por sobre a bandeija, no caso para minha filhinha de 3 anos e que , logo foi percebido por minha esposa, estando eu, minha esposa e meus três filhos, fiquei um bom tempo pensando se comeria ou não, pois logo depois deste incidente, tudo-o mais já estava sobre a mesa, confesso que por um instante perdi o apetite, más, considerei o fato das crianças estarem com fome e já estarem degustando, no entanto, minha refeição, chegou até esfriar um pouco devido eu ter ficado pensativo até o momento de considerar os fatores, enfim, já frequentei o local por várias vezes, espero não presenciar algo...

24時間営業だったがコロナ渦の影響で8:00-2:00に変更になった。全国で200店舗閉店した。幸い静岡県は西部を中心に12店舗展開。全席禁煙。店外に灰皿は設置してあるが喫煙者には辛いが時代の流れ。ジョイフルWi-Fiという店独自のインターネット接続を無料で提供していて一度登録すれば全てのチェーン店で自動接続する。一応セキュリティーが掛かっている。(混んでいるときはスピードが遅く使えない) 数は少ないが無料で電源を使用できる席もある。(全席に欲しい)。2025年5月の改装で トイレにウォシュレットとエアコンが設置された。エッグプレートと豚汁定食は全ての時間注文でき、他チェーン店と比較しても種類豊富なドリンクバー付きで税込¥625(深夜料金別)低価格のため外国人のグループ、カップルや家族客が多い。混雑する時間帯は接客が対応出来ず、注文の提供に1時間以上掛かると通知...
