カフェテラス空 — Restaurant in Izumisano

Lovely restaurant café run by an elderly couple. The yakiniku menu is really delicious and fun, and the steamed menu is light and healthy. It's a cozy place to relax in and fill the belly after the hike. The restaurant is not squeaky clean and yes you see some dust, spider web and grease here and there, but I understand that this is also how the old couple lives everyday themselves and it's not a sign of negligence. The house is also really old so how can it be perfect like in a hotel?? Come on let's be realistic... I personally did not smell any animal or unpleasant odor. The place feels like a grandparents home and gives a nostalgic feel.

I think the owners are striving their best to keep the restaurant open and appropriates the diners' visit. We were treated politely and friendly and received a box of pickled plum as gift for buying a bottle of homemade Umeshu. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we are glad to have supported a small local business. I hope they have good health and can run the business that they enjoy as long as possible.

Please try the Yakiniku and homemade umeshu, yummy!!!

Those who leave 1 star I think are mean and have no empathy. Please be kind to old people and small...

The worst service I've ever come across in a restaurant. The place smells like cat urine. The tables are greasy. You have to lasso someone to give you a menu and then get someone to take your order. It took them ONE AND A HALF HOURS to bring us (a group of four), three salads. We had to remind them one salad was missing, took them another 15 minutes to bring the salad. They then proceeded to bring us rice, and then 30 minutes later, the meat that was the main dish. Of course, by then the rice was cold and hard....

2025/5 家族で2度目の訪問。 前回は『特撰和牛と犬鳴地鶏とトントロとキノコの焼肉』を注文しましたが地鶏が美味しかったので、今回は『犬鳴地鶏とキノコの焼肉』を注文しました。 失礼ながら店構えは少々不気味なほどボロボロですし、高齢のスタッフさんは配膳も中途半端なのでサービスが良いとは言えませんが、高齢で入れ歯の母が「食べ易くて美味しい」と言うぐらい地鶏が柔らかくて美味しいです。ご飯をおかわりしたくなるほどボリュームもあります。 ゆっくり味わって食べたいのですが、固形燃料が燃え尽きてしまう前に急いで焼かねばならずそれが残念です。

【注意事項】 ①油の飛び跳ね テーブルに運ばれてくる鉄板で自分で焼くスタイルなので油が派手に飛び散ります。 かなり熱いので特に子供は要注意です。 服も匂いがつくだけでなくシミになるので汚れても気にならない格好が良いです。 ②室温 室外に近い感じなので寒暖調節できる服が必要です。 ③虫 暖かい季節は虫除けスプレーをしてから入店するのが良いかも知れません。 ④動物 猫や犬がいることがあるので衛生的に気になる方は行かない方が良いと思います。 ⑤支払い 現金のみなので注意してください。

道も狭いし、車も停めづらいし、周辺は小さい温泉があるだけで他に何も無いようなところですが、また母を連れて食べに行きます！

食べたあとは日帰り温泉でさっぱりして帰るのがオスス...
