The name is unassuming and the exterior is underwhelming, but WOW. The (mentaiko) baguette and pastry is better than popular and expensive bakeries in Seoul and Tokyo.
It’s so good, bakers need to come and take classes from whoever is baking here.
The baguette had a wonderful external crunch and internal chewiness. The amount of mentaiko was also just right. The carmelized sweet potato pastry is absolutely in a class by itself. The pastry shell was flaky and and the sweet potato had a slightly crunchy candy shell that was surprisingly complementary.
The bread booth may be small, but the space was so efficiently used, that one would have decision paralysis trying to choose.

Best kinako bread I've had ever. It's soft, not spongy but fluffy, the nutty kinako was not too sweet and it was all over that bread. I wish I bought two so I could've eaten it on my way back to the ferry terminal. They don't have seats, but you can sit on the curb outside. I didn't ask but I think you can even sit across the street so you can watch the fishing boats load up their stuff...
