Kappa Zushi — Restaurant in Kamaishi

I always enjoy kaitenzushi, so I knew going in that I'd love the place. There is a wonderful selection of foods besides sushi, and the price is great. I ordered the kara age (boneless fried chicken), and it arrived on the Shinkansen conveyor belt on top (see my photo).

The green tea was also excellent, with a slight nutty flavor to it. I still have some here.

The sushi itself was good, although if I judge it against other sushi I have eaten in Japan I was only able to give it four stars. Regardless, the food was great, the drink selection was good, the service was perfect, and the prices were very reasonable. I will go back, for sure, next time I am in...

It's a kaitenzushi chain. They're all pretty similar. Compared to other kaitenzushi chains, Kappazushi is relatively nice.

It's affordable and much better than most supermarket sushi. The seasonal options are sometimes pretty good.

何故か来たのが 定番握りの真イカ。足なし。 スタッフさんが近くを通りかかったので声を掛けるも返事なく嫌そうに対応。この時点で嫌な感じ。 おばさん店員「はいはい。すみません。交換します。(厨房にインカムで知らせる。)」

直ぐに来ました。姿ヤリイカ。 1口食べて口の中に広がる生臭さ。 1回注文して終了。 赤エビ天かすにぎりも、まー生臭い。

牛タン炙りは美味しかったです。
