キーマのチュートン — Restaurant in Kamifurano

One of the best curry I’ve had during this trip to Japan. Pork steak is very soft and juicy! It’s not in the menu but you can order an add-on, just the meat. Didn’t take pic or grilled veggies but they are very fresh and nice. The baked cheese curry rice is the best. Rice is fragrant + curry is flavorful but not overpowering.

This place has a great view overlooking a soccer field and the mountains. They have few parking spots right in front of the restaurant. Ambience inside is clean and simple.

The uncle who served us here is very warm and friendly 🥹. Also very passionate about the food, even roasted his own coffee beans to brew here.

Overall, it’s a very good place to have japanese curry. This place deserves more...

We just arrived in Hokkaido, in Autumn, it gets dark by 5pm. We did not plan to have our dinner here, as its quite a distance from where we were staying. BUT, so glad we got rejected by another diner and came here.

The owner was warm and welcoming, food omg totally outstanding! We were blown away! If you are around Furano, please plan a meal here.

Have the deluxe meal AND order an extra plate of pork slices. The curry, the grilled veg and grilled pork, outstanding!

In the darkness, this little restaurant was like a beacon shining brightly, just like the food served here, simply brilliant.

What a great first meal in...

My family stopped by for a coffee break on our way back from Biei. The coffee and food was quite good, but the person who served us had an unpleasant attitude and behaved rather strangely. He sounded us for sharing the curry rice and told us to order another portion if others wanted to try it. It was disappointing, as the dish wasn’t a buffet item, all of us just wanted to taste it and this was way after lunch anyway.
