Honey B — Restaurant in Kanuma

It was super cute. The food tasted quite good. There were not many options, though, and it seemed like the major focus was on the extra fluffy pancakes. The pancakes need about 30 minutes to make so you have to order them early when the server comes.

I went with friends on a Monday for lunch and it was busy, but if you didn't have a reservation, you could be sat after not too long of a wait. There were two or three outdoor tables as well. One woman brought her small dog, and they sat outside.

The attached gift shop has dozens of different honeys from very local bees as well as from overseas. The staff member who explained the honeys during the taste test was very knowledge and spoke clearly. My Japanese skill is only okay, but I could understand the staff member just fine.

One of my favorite places to take my friends in Kanuma. The menu is so fresh, and changes with the season. The drinks are delightful, and there's always something new and sweet to try. It does get crowded and doesn't take reservations on weekdays or holidays, so be prepared to wait. But it is well worth the wait, since the food and atmosphere is perfect.

The place is really nice, it has a great atmosphere and includes a cafe-restaurant, honey shop, Gelatto and cakes patisserie. The restaurant menu looks amazing, but not all dishes were so good. Most I’d the dishes were good but one dish was very mediocre- the fish and clams with vegetables was not a success.
