山口屋旅館 — Restaurant in Kasumigaura

A type of the good old days ‘eki-mae ryokan’, a typical Japanese business inn close by stations. I was glad to see one still surviving thanks to the granmma landlady, her family and the staff’s day-to-day efforts. Located just outside the station square, there is hardly anything equipped or setviced that you may expect to an urban chain city hotel and the place is shabby overall, but still, this ryokan has everything you need to stay a night or two including an abundant amount of hospitality and care for their guests.
