Cafe＆木のおもちゃ ミオ — Restaurant in Katano

A beautifully quaint traditional-style Japanese “at home” restaurant. I had the curry set together with cheesecake for desert and milk tea. The vegetables served along with the curry were fresh and the cheesecake itself is organic, according to the chef! I recommend sitting on the second floor, as you can see a beautiful view of the mountains stretching north-east from the window upstairs. There are toys and other items that little kids/babies can enjoy as well on the first floor, so certainly family friendly (1-2 kids max due to size). The owners, who I assume are married, are really lovely people and really take care to provide a comfortable at-home atmosphere. The Japanese wood is fresh and adds to feeling at home. I completely loved spending time at this restaurant and will definitely go again...
