Relaxing bathing area with many different rotenburo (outdoor baths) constantly overflowing with dark mineral hot spring water. There is a lounge area where you can relax in recliners and watch tv or fiddle on your phones or browse a collection of manga depending on your age range. The women’s bath section is upstairs so as to avoid any peeping eyes but they too have outdoor rooftop baths. There is an added section which costs a little extra where you can try out a hot steam room which sounds like it’s raining indoors, a couple of rock beds where you can lay down on the large towel they give you to see how long you can stand the dry heat. There is a tv lounge where you can enjoy a heated floor that lulls you into sleep. A cold room where you can cool down and a mist and light show room where you can imagine you are floating above the clouds. The restaurant is centered around tofu dishes and very...
Read moreDifferent types of bath in the facility. Black hot spring, which is typical in this area. The facility itself is not bad but it is just too crowded. I was there on Monday evening and the Google real-time congestion monitor shows it is less than 50% of normal Monday but it was too crowded and there was no way I could relax. I cannot imagine how crowded it would be on a normal day. Many young guys come in groups and very noisy, disturbing, occupies jet bath and special bath for long time. Restaurant was good but had to wait at least 30 min to be called. Again, although it is crowded and many people are queuing outside, those young kids stays in restaurant after supper, watching YouTube for over 1 hour occupying dinner tables. Overall, too crowded, no manner controlled nor prevention by the facility, and not possible to relax. Most of staffs were...

There’s also a sauna, chill lounge, massage chairs, and this whole downstairs with hot rocks (ganbanyoku). It’s a bunch of different rooms with various hot rocks and you lay down and just sweat essentially. May or may not be your thing. It does cost extra to use though.
Restaurant has good food but may have a long waiting time depending on time of day.
Place can get pretty crowded and at night (around 9pm) there can be a lot of university students or young adults and they can be pretty loud. Depends on the day...
