Sushi Dokoro Omasa — Restaurant in Kesennuma

If you're taking a trip to the Karakuwa Peninsula, this is a great place to stop by on the way if you're craving some sushi. The "golden set," pictured here for 1650 comes with an excellent variety of nigiri sushi (or a chirashi don) and sharkfin pie soup.

If you're skeptical of the sharkfin pie soup (I was, too), believe me when I say it's worth a try. I've lived in Kesennuma for almost five years now, and I never understood what all the fuss about sharkfin was. This dish changed EVERYTHING for me. The buttery flakiness of the pie crust goes perfectly with hearty texture of the sharkfin, and when it's dunked in the soup, it's an absolutely flavorful treat.

Friendly staff, tasty food and a banquet room that should be good to seat around 20 people or so without any issues. If you're bringing a large group though, it's probably advisable to make a reservation. Highly...

気仙沼にありますお寿司屋さん 大政さんに行って来ました😆✨ 素敵なお店の佇まいですね✨ ランチでにぎりとフカヒレのスープをいただきました✨ にぎりは新鮮なネタでどのお寿司も美味しかったです✨ フカヒレのスープはスープのお味が上品でパイ生地が上にあり開けるとプルプルコラーゲンのフカヒレの姿が😍 やはり気仙沼と言えばフカヒレが美味しいことで有名ですから食べてみたいですよね✨ 気仙沼のフカヒレは肉厚でプリっとしていて最高です✨ お茶がとても良いお茶を使用している感じで美味しかったです✨ 店主さんは女性の方で丁寧な仕事をされていてお父さまが前は店主さんでしたが後を継いでお仕事をされています✨ 気仙沼に来たら是非寄りたいお店ですね✨ 至福の時間✨ 美味しかったです✨ ごちそうさまでした✨
