Very comfortable spot in Kin for some good grub. I got the bacon ranch mac as an appetizer. It's a cold style mac but it was very tasty and they also don't skimp on the bacon. Not too overwhelming but just right. Then, I got the 3 piece chicken tenders n waffle, with added cinnamon apple and bacon inside. Unfortunately, no picture to be added because I was too excited haha. The additions are actually put inside the waffle, coming together for delicious harmony. The syrup they provide is some sort of cinnamon mystery as well, I've never tasted anything like it. Just like the mac in some regard, not overwhelmingly sweet but still enough to have you get that "Mmm 😊", that warmness in your stomach. The chicken was freshly made as well. Not greasy at all but a medium coating of crunchiness. Tenders were about the same size as half of the waffle. I also got the mimosa, nothing too noteworthy in that regard (as I have never had a mimosa that has let me down, theyre very reliable) but I do like how the orange juice wasn't the bitter kind at all. It was a very neutral, albeit with a hint of sweetness, sort of OJ that I, personally, have had a hard time finding recently. It does kind of taste half OJ and half champagne but that's perfectly alright, it somehow works. The service was very well done, the waitress very attentive and sweet. The food came out Mac first then a little later with the fresh chicken and waffles, I'd highly recommend ordering the same style. Appetizer & chicken and waffles so that the waiting time in between ordering and eating isn't as great if you were to get just the chicken and waffles. Overall, this was my second time coming here and I loved it. I was able to schedule a reservation for 8 people sort of early on a Friday super easy through their phone number. I also got a second order if the chicken and waffles to-go, overall it ended up around ¥5,500. I hope to be able to come...
Read moreToday, I went to CC's for some wings. It's was a last minute decission, after spending the day at Kin Beach. Let me say a big thank you to the staff for enduring 2 toddler's absolutely losing their minds, and screaming their heads off because they havnt figured out how to share a car toy. Anywho. My friend and her husband, myself and my son, were sat in the back. Upon trying to get situated and sensing a meltdown, I immediately orderd my son food to keep him occupied before ww3 erupted, and the server was on a roll, and put the order in ASAP! My friends loved the chicken and waffles, and wings. My order came out last, and I sat patiently till it got there. I don't normally order wings but decided that I would give it a try, and it was good. we all got curly fries instead of wedges, but they were good nonetheless.
Pros: good food all round. The sweet tea was served in a giant jar! As an avid sweet tea drinker it was a delight!
Cons. Low lighting making it difficult to read the menue, and one 1 high...
Read moreThe first time we went was for our daughters 18th birthday. She loves chicken and waffles and wanted it for dinner. We were all blown away with how delicious everything was. The waffles were fluffy and I got the bacon add in which made it savory. The special maple syrup butter gravy was absolutely scrumptious and added the perfect amount of sweetness. I tried a mix of white and dark chicken which was cooked to crispy yet juicy perfection. The peach iced tea packed a punch that was hidden nicely. My girls loved their strawberry lemonade too. My husband tore up the five piece with a peanut butter and chocolate waffle topped with whipped cream. My ultimate favorite is the bacon add in with a two piece though. I loved it so much we went back for brunch with friends a couple of days later. Just writing about it now has my mouth watering. I might need to grab some breakfast from there today! I highly recommend the food and want to add that the staff are very friendly...
