The bread here is really delicious and worth the price! The shop has a retro-style atmosphere but uses a modern payment system, accepting credit cards, PayPay, and other online payments.

Service was straightforward—just the usual greeting, placing my order, making payment, and exchanging thanks. I visited on a public holiday around 11 AM, and there was still plenty of bread available. However, I didn’t try their famous red bean bread, as that wasn’t my focus.

For those who enjoy crispy, savory flavors, I highly recommend the もちず—it was incredibly tasty, and I regret not buying more! Definitely a reason to return.

Access is a bit tricky since the shop is right by the main road, and parking is tight, fitting only two to three cars. The store itself is small, so after entering the narrow hallway, browse the self-serve bread display, choose what you like, decide on any items from the glass case, and then place your order and make payment.

「トミーズ　魚崎本店」

神戸市東灘区のお店です。 「トミーズ」のあん食は、 関西圏では 馴染みある人も 多いのではないでしょうか。 スーパーで卸売りされているのを 学生時代よく見てました。 あん食は、その重量感に びっくり。 一人暮らしでは、なかなか ボリューム満点なので、 学生時代は結局見かけても 買わずじまいだったんですよね(^-^;

今回は、西宮市から福山市への帰り道で 実家(岡山市)に寄るついでに母からのリクエストを 受けて、これまた帰り道にある本店の方へ お訪ねしてみることに。

本店に行ったからといえ、 特別な何かを買うわけではないのですが… まあパン好きの聖地巡礼の一環です(笑) (一度は店舗に行ってみたい)

お店の販売形式は、 対面販売。

昔ながらのお店でこの販売形式を 取り入れてるのも それはそれで珍しいと感じました。

食パン類コーナーには、あん食を始めとした 重量感溢れるメンツが勢揃い。

トミーズあん食、 抹茶あん食、 あんバター食、 ハイミルク、 高級食パン、 バター食パン、 上食パン、 湯種食パン、 …

どれも一度は試してみたい ラインナップですね。

食パンにすっかり目が奪われておりましたが、 お手頃価格とサイズの 惣菜パン、菓子パンだって 置いてあります。 あん食で有名なだけに、 あんこを使った商品が 気になりますね。

次回以降の楽しみにとっておいて、 今回はお目当てのあん食を 手にとって(食パンの棚は、客サイドから 取ることができます)、 お会計。 やっぱり重みがすごいですね。

お店の外に出ると、 自販機があることに気がつきました。 何と「トミーズ」のパンの福袋入り! …ですが、その番号のところは品切でした(^-^; 珍しいものはやっぱり人気…。

あん食は、実家に持ち帰り重量測定。 900g超えと判明。 納得の重量です。 要る分だけ切り分け、残りは母へ。
