Kohiya OB Sengendaiten — Restaurant in Koshigaya

It is easy to spot along route 4 by-pass at Saitama prefecture since it is a log house structured and beside the main road.

My husband ordered milktea plus cheesecake while I ordered iced mocha ore plus choco pancake.

The milktea, as per my husband, doesn't really taste that good and the cheesecake also tasted fine.

We were shocked when my iced mocha ore was served because it is in an EXTRA LARGE glass (more like a jar hahaha). It has bitter taste that's why the server gave us a gum syrup (and I really had to consume half of the bottle because really it tastes bitter!!). After reaching the sweetness level I wanted it tasted good! With that large glass 2-3 persons can share with a cheap price ¥500~ (sorry i wasn't able to picture the menu with price list)

The choco pancake was served with choco syrup (which is bitter by the way), topped with salty butter, and with sweet whip cream cherry and orange slice on the side. I assume that this pancake is really served for adults hence the bitterness and saltiness of the pancake. I just ordered it thinking it was sweet choco that my son can eat lol.

Overall, this place is very cozy where students can study or couples can hang out. I wouldn't suggest it for families with little kids. I don't think it's the cafe's vibe to be kid friendly (also no baby chairs available). It is really more for woking people who wants calming place to work with.

基本的に飲み物など大きいサイズで出て来て食べ物は普通です。パフェ類は大きめだけどね😄 名前は何でOBなのか？社長さんが小尾という名前だからだそうです。でも今は「OHー❗️BIG‼️」でOBという事にしといて下さいとのことです。 主に埼玉県南部中心に店舗展開してますが、その他にも地方に点在してるらしく諏訪や藤沢にも有るみたいです。諏訪の方に割りかし良く行くので今度探してみたいと思います❗️
