Sushiro — Restaurant in Kumamoto

Date of Visit/Experience: May 23, 2025

Summary of Experience: This was my first time at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Japan, and the experience was truly wonderful. The staff were incredibly hospitable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the sushi was.

Atmosphere/Ambiance: The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming feel. Although it was busy with many customers, it didn't feel crowded, and the noise level was comfortable—not too quiet but not too loud.

Service: The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, making us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality made my first visit a great experience.

Food/Products: I was a bit hesitant about trying sushi for the first time, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The dishes I tried, like the tuna and shrimp tempura, were all delicious. However, the one that stood out the most was the cheese salmon, which I highly recommend. While most items were great, the natto maki had a unique taste that wasn't for me, but it's clearly a popular item with locals.

Value for Money: Since this was a treat from my client, I'm unable to comment on the price. I plan to update my review on a future visit once I can pay for myself.

夕方‥国道3号線の植木界隈は大渋滞！

イライラして帰るよりは‥食事して帰ろうかね！‥って事になり‥

『スシロー鹿子木店』にて‥食事です！

駐車場が半分位詰まって居たので心配して入店しましたが‥

店内は半分のテーブル席が空いていました。

久しぶりのスシローですが‥

何時も行く、はま寿司感覚‥（はま寿司は注文途中で何時もパンク！‥はま寿司渋滞となります。）で‥注文したら‥

テキパキとバリバリ、次々と‥レーンから届き‥あっという間に‥テーブルに置けなくなってしまいました‥💦

スシロー‥の速さは恐るべし！‥（笑）

次回からは‥スシローでは、ボチボチ食べてから注文します‥（笑）
