Very good French restaurant in Nagaokakyo area near Kyoto. The access is not very easy, as the road around is narrow and winding and is not close to train stations. But it means the location is calm and relaxing. The building is historical Japanese style and the garden is not very big but impressively beautiful. Food is I think real and very good French. Un retaurant incroyable où nous avons passé une soirée inoubliable ! Nous sommes français et étions invités par nos amis Japonais qui voulaient nous faire découvrir la cuisine française de ce retaurant qui travaille avec des produits japonais. Nous sommes de retour à Kyoto après de nombreuses années afin de faire découvrir le Japon à nos enfants. Nous adorons la cuisine japonaise mais nos amis ont eu une excellente idée !
