HANADAN CAFE — Restaurant in Maebashi

Stumbled upon this cafe through a book in the Japanese store. Quaint and cute, unfortunately the day I visited the bus didn't operate hence it took me a good 20-30mins walk to find this cafe. I didn't regret, the place is IG worthy. Nestled in a small part of Maebashi, unassuming, good for dates, girl friends get together to chat over simple fare of pasta and daily special.

I ordered a Scallop Pasta with Lemon Cream served in a bed of Mizuna Salad. It was refreshing and welcoming change. I enjoyed it over a glass of ice cold latte!

What makes this place stood for me is the warm hospitality. As a foreigner in the land, my hp was quickly drained as I used it to navigate the Google maps. I asked the kind lady if she has a charger which I can pluck in, but unfortunately Samsung isn't that popular. I explained that my battery will be flat by the time I go back and am concern that I may lost my way as I am not familiar with the area. She is so kind and come back minutes later to offer me a ride to the station I wanted to go. What did I do to deserve this? She is a God sent angel. As much as I didn't want to impose on her, but it would be best to take the offer as the town is quiet and catching a cab back to where I wanted to go is pretty expensive and almost difficult to hire one too. She took time off from her boss I believe, and I had some small chats with them. They deserve all the support one can get. Please show them some love. Great...

何度か伺っています。 母とランチ、1人でランチ等… 今回は車いすの家族もいたので、事前に車いすでも利用可能か伺ったところ、OKとお返事をいただきました。 (インスタのDMで聞きましたが、すぐにお返事をいただけました) ただ、実際に行ってみると入り口はクランクのようになっており、車いすのサイズにもよりますがサイドをこすりながら通るような感じです。 段差はありませんでした。

2〜3段上がったところにも席があるので、そこにならないよう事前にオンラインで予約をしてから行きました。

車いすでも利用可能なゆっくり話ができる席、向かい合える席を、と備考欄に書かせていただいていたのですが 店内に入ると予約自体を把握されていないような反応で、希望した席が全て埋まっているようでした。 (名前を言っても？？？という感じで、スタッフの方がフロアを見て席を探している間しばらく待ったので) そこまではしょうがないのですが、散々あわあわした後にオーナーらしき男性が「あなたが予約した時点でこの席(希望していた席)は予約が入っていました。大テーブルの端でコの字で座れば向かい合えるでしょう」と開き直り&言い訳。 3人でコの字で座りましたが、大きなテーブルなのでお向かいが遠く、終始前傾姿勢で話さなければなりませんでした。

また、ドリンクだけ注文したのですが、アイスコーヒーに30分くらいかかりました。 提供時間の長さはみなさん書かれているとおりで、時間に余裕がある時に行くことをおすすめします。

お花がたくさん飾ってあったり、お花を購入することもできます。 レストランウエディングもやられているようですし、カップルや女子会には映えて良いと思います。 また、通常の接客自体は感じは悪くありません。 今回のようなことがなけれ...

お友達とランチを食べてきました！12時に来店して満席に近かったので、席は事前に予約をしておいた方が無難だと思います。 今日のパスタから、旬の牡蠣を使ったトマトソースのパスタとドリンク＆デザートのセットを注文しました。パスタだけで¥1400、ドリンク＆デザートのセット料金が別途¥550、消費税も入れると¥2000を越してしまい、ランチとは言えなかなかのお値段。正直なところお味もトマト味が強すぎて、一口食べて『美味しい‼︎』と言葉が出るような感じではありませんでした。デザートはガトーショコラを頼んだのですが、想像していたガトーショコラとは違い見た目は良いのですが… たまたま選んだメニューが私的に好みの味ではなかったのかもしれませんが、とにかく雰囲気はとても良かったです。お花好き...
