We followed the reviews and travelled through a misty evening sunset to get to this little Teishoku restaurant specialising in pork and it was worth every mile travelled! The missus had the tenderloin curry and I had the pork belly and both cuts were tender and succulent, with wonderfully crispy breading that complimented the freshness and juiciness of the meat. The sauces set off the meat well and the curry in particular was unusually good. There seemed to be grated daikon in the curry which gives it a lightness and texture that is a departure from normal Japanese curry but in a very good way. Read moreIf you are hungry for pork Katsu this place is a must! They clearly have specialized in Katsu and they do it very well! The tender loin is so good and the price is very good as well. Great place for kids as they have kids books available to keep them occupied!
Since I wrote the above review I have been back many times and it has become a must stop in place when friends come to visit. I would have to say this is my favorite restaurant in the area!!!
