A surprise find on a road trip in Izu. The food was very delicious with a competitive price for what you would get in the city. Plus you get to try the local fish, home-made whole grain bread rolls 💖, and home-made juice cocktail! Not to mention that for a small family restaurant, they brought a proper set of cutlery according to your order, warmed the plate for warm dishes, and baked the bread before serving. We will surely revisit if we come to the area. ご馳走様でした🥇

Ps. The white sesame pudding was so tasty, but it doesn't look great in the pic, as it is just plain white. Give it a try if you...

What a tucked away place to have french style cuisine. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The home made breads were fantastic. The appetizers were absolutely amazing, the fish bullion soup was simply divine, the venison steak was so delicious, and the dessert (not pictured as I couldn't wait to take a pic before I devour it) and tea was a beautiful way to end the B dinner course I chose tonight. Pricing very reasonable and well worth the price. I'd pay higher if I can for this quality of food! Worth the visit to drop by to appreciate local fresh ingredients and...

Fantastic small French restaurant run by a husband/wife team. They take full advantage of the fresh seafood as well as other local meats and vegetables. We dined in winter but we looked enviously at the outdoor terrace off the dining room. The freshly baked bread was really amazing. The day we visited there was a rice flour sesame roll as well as a regular wheat roll. I’d like to come back for dinner & will plan ahead to incorporate a dinner here on my next trip...
