Uotaro — Restaurant in Mihama

We were a bit disappointed that they weren’t doing the all-you-can-eat deal for some reason, but we ploughed ahead anyway and had a great time. There’s something very satisfying about sitting cooking giant chunks of fish as you look out over the bay. The tampin plan is expensive, especially if you want beers too, though a soft drink bar is included at no extra charge. I spent around 7000 all in so be aware. The stuff isn’t tip top quality either, which you might need to take notice of as there’s a lot of fishy stuff that has the potential to ruin the next day. I had no issues personally but one of our party did. Also there seemed to be a lot of university age young people making noise, which is a bit of a pain...

Love, love and love this place. Uotaro is a lovely market which offers a plethora of fresh seafood. Buy what appeals to you here and and bring them over next door to, Sakana Taro, to be BBQed. Great place to have a sea side BBQ. There is a wide selection of Seafood and Meat. However I would be careful to choose carefully as the price tag at the end get very high.
