How lucky we were to find this gem just a few minutes’ walk from the beach! It hit the spot after all the traditional seafood we consumed over the weekend. Run by an exceedingly friendly crew happy to chat, by the time we left we were swapping stories with other customers in Spanish, English, and Japanese. A charmingly serendipitous afternoon that was the perfect tonic for us before heading home after a day at the beach. Also loved their serene little garden and shaded tables although we decided to sit inside. We’ll be back! I’d like to try their burger next. Very surprising to find this real French bistro in the area near HAPPYDOG Beach and the ocean promenade! The staff are all cute Frenchies, having the restaurant in a traditional Japanese antique house with patio outdoor sitting area. The place was packed with clients (on a Sunday) since it is one of the few fancy places in town. All staff are very friendly and even speak great Japanese!
