Location & Atmosphere: We visited a quaint Thai restaurant in Misawa that came highly recommended. Despite a long workday, we made the trip around 7:30 PM. The cozy, non-commercial atmosphere was inviting and added to our dining experience.
Appetizers: We ordered nearly every appetizer on the menu, except one. Each dish was delicious! I was unable to eat the papaya salad, as my coworker ordered it with a low spice level that was too intense for me. However, we absolutely loved the pork rib appetizer, which came in a flavorful pepper sauce reminiscent of gravy. Its richness made it so good that I could easily have it as an entrée with rice.
Entrée: For my main course, I ordered the green curry with chicken and rice. Although I didn’t request any spice, it still had a kick, but I enjoyed it immensely—especially paired with the white rice.
Service: There was one staff member who assisted us, and she was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
Conclusion: Overall, the service was great, the atmosphere was warm, and the food was outstanding. The value was very reasonable, making it an easy spot to recommend. After such a positive experience, I would...
Read moreLived in Misawa for 3 years, been here about 3 times and it was always average Thai food. I will never understand how Americans rave so hard for this restaurant. Portions are ridiculously small for Thai cuisine which is usually much larger, everything from the Green Curry to the Pad Thai; all small portions. Flavor I will say is good, but no better than any other Thai place. Staff is not friendly, they have never been. My last time here, I went with a friend and the owner offered a free appetizer to him because they knew each other, and just dismissed that I was there. I just think if you're in customer service, the least you can do is offer a sample to all patrons present at the table. Ridiculously overrated. SUKDEE Thai close to Misawa center is light years better in every way...
Read moreJust arrived to the area and I do love my Thai food. I love the ambience! Very cozy & family owned feeling! I am normally a level 4-5 Thai in the states so I stared of with a 3 level spice just to make sure…. And sure enough 3 was plenty hot! My daughter loved the fried rice with chicken (zero spice). My son had Thai Basil with chicken. (No spice) he also finished his plate. Wife ordered Thai Noodle soup w/ shrimp level 3 and she couldn’t finish. I had the Pad Thai Shrimp spice 3 and it was hotter than the soup!!! Could only finish half or else tomorrow morning would be a Thai night mare.
Fried rice was the favorite dish for my daughter & my wife...
