MIPAMA ES SU CASA — Restaurant in Miyakojima

I was afraid this wasn’t going to be open but it is!!! Lots of restaurants on the island say they are open but this one 100% is as of my current trip. This restaurant is so nice. They are really clean and the view of the beach is beautiful from where you eat. They have a decent variety of alcohol. They have great fresh juices like pineapple and guava and they aren’t full of processed sugars, very refreshing for after sun. They have lots of fun merchandise around the shop with towels, t-shirts and flip flops. Something I would love to see from this is a series of swimsuits for purchase as a souvenir. The people working it are really young and just the sweetest humans. The ice cream is insane here I loved all of it. The blue wave, the mango, shiiquasa, Ube, are all great combinations of each other you can’t really go wrong. We got the taco rice, the hamburger and the curry throughout our day and each dish is well portioned and priced. The curry is definitely spicy so be weary. There is no sunscreen or aloe available here so buy it before you come out...

Stopped by to do some work as well and enjoy the beach and boy is this place perfect for both. Work and view can't be matched by another. Enjoyed some pineapple juice which is alright. I didn't eat here since I wasn't here long enough to try out their food so I didn't rate them for that.

The first floor (ground level) is the restaurant. 2nd floor is the balcony view with a gazebo and a tent sauna (interesting take).

The folks were nice so thats a bonus. Def coming back here when I'm not...

We had lunch here on a quick visit to Yonaha beach. Unfortunately very quiet due to off-peak season and impacted from the pandemic. Music was too loud but still a nice touch. Appears to be the only restaurant near to this beach which may allow them to get away with higher prices and average quality.
