Nichinan Suisan — Restaurant in Miyazaki

Was quite pleasantly surprised I came on a day when this place wasn’t crowded(especially seeing other reviews) even though I made a reservation. The lack of crowd makes for a nice relaxing chill vibe where I could slowly take my time to enjoy the Ise Ebi and heavenly Hamaguri Clams. They do QR ordering so it does feel efficient and they also accept credit cards for all you points-chasers. It’s a bit out of the way but it has the advantage of being smacked outside the JR station. Local line passes here less frequently so it will be great to time your lunch and make arrangements accordingly to get the best experience. But if you’re driving then that’s a different story.

Has ordered the lobster and BBQ seafood set plus seafood spaghetti. The lobster sushi is very sweet and excellent. The spaghetti and the scallops are delicious. In terms of services, they are not great at that. Only the a little bit fat woman is nice to the customers. Even I have dropped some seafood onto the ground, they have offered to give us one set free voluntarily. Nice view and food. If you don't drive, it is a bit hectic to take bus to there. As fresh as it gets. This is a great find along Route 220. The restaurant has water tanks of live seafood. We ordered the Lobster sashimi for 2. The lobster meat was incredibly sweet and fresh. The lobster head was cooked into soup and served later with rice.

We also ordered the shell fish set, whole abalone and uni served in soy sauce for BBQ. They all tasted great!

We wanted to return again for the sashimi bowl but restaurant was closed...
