We visited the restaurant when we were staying at nearby hotel. It seems to be the only restaurant in town so if your hotel doesn't come with meal included then this is only choice. We went at around 630 and got the seat immediately. The owner is an elderly uncle but he still can prepare the sushi expertly and is very friendly. Though he could not communicate in English The menu is only in Japanese. Sushi is available in 'Nigiri set' as shown in the pic, in Chiraishi (rice bowls), and in 1-kind dish. We ordered 2 nigiri sets. Unfortunately the menu doesn't state types of sushi are offered (prob due to seasonality) with prices around 2000 - 2500 yen which is mid-range option. There are cheaper and more expensive options available. Overall the sushi is very tasty and very well valued, considered the place is not nearby the sea. Comes with hot tea and miso soup Total bill comes at 5,900 yen for 2 person (tax included) Payment in cash only.

I ordered 4,000 yen, it is good for 2 people. I love to try local food and restaurants. And it is a way to appreciate and to support local businesses.

The service was top notch too - the owner/chef was very welcoming. As a bonus it opens late. We ordered the 松（上）seafood bowl as well as sushi set. Well worth making a detour here when you are in the area. Probably the best sushi we've had in the area or even in Tohoku.

Run by a father daughter combo, this humble sushi eatery was the only restaurant open next to our hotel. It doesn’t try to innovate on the age old cuisine of sushi - instead highlighting the fresh local produce through simple combos making it all the more delicious.

They specialised in an assortment of nigiri and chirashi sets - also served an interesting selection of local fruit wines.
