Cafe Ichara — Restaurant in Motobu

If you are a Studio Ghibli fan or and have seen Spirited Away just know driving down this little path is just like the movie. This is a cute little place but parking is limited. What you need to expect: When you walk in take off shoes and place in book case or in shoe area in front of Cafe Ichara. Came here based on other good google reviews. The setting is nice enough and the staff friendly. The pizza was bad though, looked like frozen bought pizza bases that were overloaded and undercooked. Served with a flower that had ants all over it.

Normally would just pass it off as a bad experience, but at 1,500JPY for a small pizza this isn't really acceptable.

There is inside seating as well as terrace, but inside is more open air, so although it didn't bother me too much, people who don't like bugs...

You know this place is good when you go here twice in a week and it's an hour drive. Some of the best pizza I've had on island. I highly recommend the lotus chicken pizza. It's delicious and very mild in flavor. They accept credit card and cash and there is outdoor seating. Great service and they have a bathroom.
