Gorgeous garden to stop and take the beauty of nature in. Located in Nago there are many paths to take and to discover exotic tropical flowers one might not see else where. We spent about an hour walking around taking photos and trying to catch butterflies on camera. We were worried the recent typhoon might affect the pretty flowers but fortunately the petals were not destroyed. These delicate looking flowers are stronger than you would expect and prettier in person. There was parking on site and the fee to enter was 500 yen for adults and 200 yen for students. But the garden brightens up the day. The rain did not make it less enchanting but enhanced the experience. The stone steps were slippery and kinda steep for those with weak knees.
The garden looks beautiful and smells wonderful, you can see the effort and love put into the plants.
They have beautiful large Medinillia shrubs in vibrant reddish pink and Hoyas flowering on tree ferns for plant people to enjoy.
