Your primary reason for visiting Pizza In The Sky should be the "dine with a view" asset, to be honest. The food was OK, but it's not what would have me come back. We arrived about half an hour after opening time (during the week), and it was slowly starting to get crowded already. Luckily, we did not have a wait time. There are Japanese seating options but also picnic table style options. The menu is cleverly written on a fan. The drinks come served on little cloth shirts with floral patterns. All very cute! As for the pizza, they only have two options: plain cheese or mix. The mix will be green pepper, white onion chunks (uncooked, just thrown on), cheese and meats. My mom had a small plain one and I had the medium mixed. Apart from having cheese, the small one was also covered in pepper; so much it made my mom cough every time she took a bite. As for the mixed one, it was OK except for those onion chunks. Having white onion that's not been cooked in a pan prior to throwing it on a pizza is just not yummy. With every time I bit down on one of those pieces, I lost more of my appetite. I didn't finish my last two slices purely because I was done with the onion taste. On a brighter note, their acerola juice is great!

We arrived 3 minutes after they opened and ended up being 19 on the waiting list. The lot was already packed and a line was out the doors. I was expecting something completely amazing with this many people lined up to eat. We waited about 30 min to be seated which wasn’t too bad and you can admire the beautiful view or play a game while waiting. Their menu is on a paper hand fan which is kinda cool, but that’s just means it’s a small selection. They have two pizza options, that’s it! It’s either cheese, or one with peppers, onion, corn, and ham/sausage of some sort. The staff was friendly and the food was served pretty quickly. The pizza was the cheesiest pizza I’ve ever had. Almost too much cheese and had lots of grease. It was good, but had an overwhelming amount of garlic. I was left tasting it for the next couple hours. Over all it was good, but not the best pizza ever. We also had their only dessert option of frozen mango. Not that amazing either. It was a fun experience and the view was great but I probably won’t return. It is yen only.

The setting is incredible, and the service is fantastic. Had a large group of 13, and despite being busy, they found us tables together. Originally sat inside as the photo shows, but they have wonderful outdoor seating with picnic tables that we moved to. View is breathtaking. Service was quick and they presented items beautifully, like the tea. My biggest critique is the menu is limited, but I'm sure that helps with the quick service. It wasn't my favorite style of pizza and my group described it as a wet pizza (lots of cheese, different type than on most pizzas I've tried but not sure what type). It was still good food and most people finished, but gave the food 3 stars for average. You can order pizza in 9 inches or 13 inches. Price is decent, but I think you are paying a bit extra for location. They have a ton of parking for this location. Pizza in the Sky is definitely worth trying for the experience.

Amazing dining. Easy to say this has been the best food in 8 months. The staff has fairly well rounded English speakers. After this delicious meal I discovered that the kitchen is manned by sweet little older ladies who are just as kind as they are amazing in the kitchen. Such a beautiful view. Both traditional seating indoors as well as outside options with large picnic tables underneath a well made timber pavilion. Fans compensate for warmer weather conditions. There are only two options for pizza which are cheese and "mix". The pizzas cost ~¥2,300 and the amazing salad was ¥600. My Orion beer was ¥500, coke goes for ¥200, with fresh mango and orange juice for ¥300 and ¥400. The best way to finish off you meal is with the freshly thawed diced mango tossed in sweet chili sauce. This place only accept cash and can be expensive for families but it is well worth it.

You will wait at least 30-40 minutes to get seated on a Saturday. While you receive a good view of the ocean and the surrounding area, you have a choice of a medium or small pizza, also a salad. There are no other choices. The pizza you receive is a little pricier than most but it is terribly heavy, a lot of flop and most of the ingredients are lacking in flavour, a fair bit. I will admit that the dough is good, it’s just under-seasoned and undercooked. The toppings consist of japanese bacon (unflavoured deli ham) uncooked onion and a kind of sausage that also had very little flavour. I think if they just improved the sauce and the toppings, dialled back the cheese, they’d have a winner pizza but in my honest opinion, most people visit pizza in the sky for the view. The staff were also very nice and attentive and the coffee was quite good.

A bit off the beaten path and, can get extremely busy at times, this is a Pizza joint you'll love. On a slow day it may take 20 minutes of waiting, before being called to place your order but, it is well worth the wait. It is family, stroller and handicap accessible. Cash in Yen or US Dollars is the only method of payment. No credit cards are accepted. The salad I ordered was humongous and really more than enough for two people. A medium Pizza is also, probably more than one person can eat at one sitting. We asked for takeout boxes to finish off the remaining 1/2 of medium pizzas. Staff are friendly, polite and provide superior service. The view would be awesome for photography, overlooking the ocean below however, I was there on an overcast day. Will definitely return here anytime visiting the Motobu Peninsula on a fair weather trip.
