First time coming here and I don't think I'll ever come back. I was very excited to take my sister here who was only here for a visit. I heard nothing but great reviews. We were amazed by how beautiful it was. The view was absolutely breathtaking! But the moment we walked in, the waiter pointed outside and told us to find a seat. I thought that was rude. He wasn't very welcoming either. We went to where the hammocks were at to find a place to sit. We found one & were about to sit down but the same guy who told us to find a table told us we weren't allowed there. It was only for large groups. So we sat on the side waiting and hoping there'd be another cooler spot (it was hot) with a shade & hammock. A group finally left. My sister and I took that spot. 3 minutes later, we got kicked out again. That's twice! We were told there were people waiting. At that time, there was no line. We made sure there weren't anybody waiting. Those people could've sat where the larger group section was at but instead, we were told to sit on the side again. It would've been helpful if the waiter walked us to a table that was allowed instead of constantly making us leave. We had enough. We were in no mood to ordering anything from them. I couldn't even sip the cup of water they offered. Worst customer service ever. I was looking forward to taking my whole family here in the future but that's not going to happen.. I'm very...
Read moreI’ve eaten at some great establishments here on Okinawa but this one by far takes the cake!
Everything was on point, from the food, to the atmosphere and environment and the service.
We stopped by on chance since pizza in the Sky seemed to be packed and Man what luck!
It seemed pretty popular since all the tables with hammocks were taken except the one in the back. It is self seating so of course I rushed for the spot. It was perfect as my youngest was asleep and slept in the hammock the whole time.
The inside is set traditional Japanese and the bathroom (ladies) was immaculate!
Food:
We ordered almost everything on the menu - Chicken rice, Veggie Pho, pizza toast brunch set and fried noodles. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious! To the point where my husband, who has to have hot sauce on everything (pasta, Chinese food, rice, you get it), didn’t even ask because “he didn’t want to ruin the flavor.”
And OMG the juice 🤤🤤 my favorite part. Okinawa has set the bar for fresh juice/nectar but omggg this juice was on another level. Mango juice had to definitely be local and fresh because it didn’t taste like any other mango juice I’ve had on Island.
We were up there visiting the aquarium but I’d take that hour drive up there anytime for that...
Read moreWow wow and more wow! This place is paradise. The atmosphere is one of the best I have ever experienced from a cafe. Ocean views, peaceful music, relaxing hammocks all whilst butterflies and dragonflies flutter all over. Not to mention the food was so yummy. The presentation was beautiful as well (as you can see in other review photos). I got the cold chili noodles without tuna (yes they’re vegetarian friendly) and was so excited to have some fresh veggies in the dish. My partner got the cinnamon toast plate and loved it. I will be recommending this place to all of my...
