Wowee! We were searching for a place serving Okinawan dishes and this was recommended by our host and it didnโ€™t disappoint. Soki Soba and Goya Champaru were some of the dishes we ordered. The broth of the Soki Soba was the best - a smoky salty flavour that I could drink for days. Service was outstanding as the lady was patient with us and our broken Japanese. Atmosphere was what we were hoping, a traditional Japanese seating arrangement. Price was so good and Iโ€™d recommend any day of the week.

But since i saw the humongous tempura rice bowl meal ๅคฉไธผใ‚ปใƒƒใƒˆ, I had to order one. It came with a tiny bowl of soki-soba that satisfied my appetite and other small plates.

It's my favourite place for lunch. The restaurant offers set lunch for 550 yen on weekdays and the menu is different everyday. They are famous for squid Okinawa Siva which is really unique and tasty. The tempura don and tempura soba are really generous in term if servings. Lunch hour may be busy especially during summer season.
