Considering how old this place is, I would like to get good ramen here. Instead I found karaage that was fast food chain type that I couldn't even finish (and I'm not one to leave food on the table) and very average ramen with char siu I suspect is also bulk bought. Yes this place has so much potential given its history. I can just picture a Japanese version of Gorden Ramsey's kitchen nightmares turnaround at this place. It needs a clean up and an injection of pride so that current people can serve something they are proud of rather than some sub par ramen which I can get at some pseudo Japanese shop...

It's freaking expensive for a Ramen and so damn gross and no taste. It has one tiny piece of meat and another bowl is super tiny mince meat. Then we added yakitori that cost 10,000 for one tiny stick which was fine if it taste nice but it's like obviously frozen chicken and sprinkled with SUPER LOTSA SALT AND DAMN BAD.

Read moreI was disappointed. The grilled beef (had rib and loin) were both very tough, and the sauce was a little too sweet. The spicy chasiu miso ramen was good, but the chasiu wasn't great. There was plenty of spicy, which I liked. The noodles were cooked well. The service wasn't friendly, and all the signs were "no this, no that..." Just didn't feel hospitable.
