We got the set menu and they tailor made a kids menu for our kids. We were a group of 8 and the food was amazing! They started us when cold appetisers and then flowed with a mix of cooked food and incredibly fresh sushi and sashimi. They struggled with English but made use of google translate and someone on call on the phone to help translate our desires. After 3 years living in Japan, this is the absolute best place for true Japanese food and atmosphere. The restaurant is quite small and if you decide to sit at the counter, you're sure to meet with locals who are always happy to chat and curious to learn about other culture. You can also get a private room and eat just with your group. The food is simply amazing and the staff is super friendly. Excellent! Such a nice surprise. Our group didn’t speak any Japanese, but the staff was very patient with us in explaining each course. We asked for omakase at around 4,000 yen per person. We got a TON of food. Lots of things I’d never had before. The fugu karaage was delicious. Everyone here was so friendly.
