This place is really good. Definitely worth a visit. We arrived on a weekday, shortly after the restaurant opened. There weren't many people but it filled up quickly. I ordered several things. The sashimi was ok, but the flesh was a bit firm. So was the nigiri. I expected something softer. The grilled shrimp was good. The shrimp karaage was great. I ordered the mega godzilla size tempura. It was good, but I think the godzilla size shrimp would have been nearly the same. The breaded fried shrimp set was delicious. I should have ordered two lunch sets. I was really impressed by how tasty the shrimp heads were. I generally don't eat them because they have a certain aftertaste, but these were very, very good. ...

Small restaurant as part of a shrimp farm, so you can be assured that you are served fresh shrimps! It comes in various sizes and depends on availability on the day. Also, the bigger it is, the more expensive it is. I tried the mixed set which gave a good mix of shrimp tasting in various ways!

The owner, a young lad who speaks English and Chinese as well is really friendly and helpful even designed those t-shirts currently sold at the shop. Tempura shrimp t-shirt print anyone?

This place wasn't on our itinerary, we drove past and saw the sign on the way to Kouri Island. Did a short detour and was grateful that we did.

Prawn Tempura restaurant where you can choose the size of the prawn you would like. you have a selection of how you would like the prawns as well, raw sashimi, tempura, deep fried, fried or boiled! I ordered a set that came with one of each cooking style, very fresh and delicious.
