Kani Honke Yagoto Branch — Restaurant in Nagoya

Today we visited the Yagoto branch of Kani Honke. The Nagoya Cross Cultural Exchange Association hosted it's monthly Restaurant Hunters group with 12 members participating. This location easily accommodates large groups and has an incredibly beautiful lobby area. During this visit we all had the lunch Sugi meal set (¥3,700). This set included assorted Sashimi, Simmered seasonal vegetables, Shrimp salad, Shrimp Tempura, Seasonal mixed rice, Miso soup, and ice cream. The ambience if the restaurant paired well with the dishes which were all fresh and delicious. The staff had no problem serving 12 guests at one time. いつか行こうと思ってましたが…カニはお高いイメージがあったので、なかなか行けないでいました。でもGoToイートの券が使えるのでと、やっと行く事が出来ました！予約はしないで行ったのですが掘りごたつ風の良い席に案内されました。他にもけっこう、お客さんがいましたが話し声が気になる事はなく、いい雰囲気の店内。中庭には滝が流れてて池には鯉が泳いでます(ほっこり)注文したのはカニしゃぶ、オススメの炙りタラバ握り、ズワニガニ握り、刺し身の5種盛、カニグラタンなど…。カニシャブは最初、仲居さんが支度してくれました。カニはもちろん、野菜たくさん、豆腐、マロニー、お餅とたっぷり。つけるポン酢がすごく美味しくてカニにも野菜にもあって何度もおかわりしてしまいました。他に味噌味もあったのですがポン酢…気に入りました(柚子の味もしててホント美味！)かなりお腹いっぱいになったのですがシメに雑炊。カニのダシで作る雑炊は美味しいに決まってます(笑)ペロリと完食！ほうじ茶のサービスもあり本当に満足出来ました。後、忘れてはならないのは仲居さんは何人かいたのですが、みなさん感じ良く対応してくれたので気持良く食事する事が出来ました。お値段は結構な金額でしたが、お財布に余裕があったら是非とも来たいと思わ...
