Starbucks Coffee - Gokiso Station — Restaurant in Nagoya

Pretty solid Starbucks location. The food and drinks options are obviously as you’d expect, and this branch is clean, tidy, quiet and well appointed. However, the location is just okay. Whilst conveniently close to a station, the building is pretty uninspiring, which no interesting architecture, no outside space/greenery, and only a very tiny balcony (enough space for four people only). Therefore, I wouldn’t especially recommend this location to relax in, compared to more cute/scenic spots. On the other hand, on both my visits I have found the staff to be exceptionally patient and helpful, especially when I had queries. (For example about buying using a reusable travel cup - that gives you ¥20 off per beverage, plus currently they give you a free drink voucher with the original purchase. Unbelievable!! We ordered ¥4000 worth of coffee and food. Asked for an additional cup and lid for our other child to share mango frap, their damn answer was "no...no, not our policy". Maybe language issue, NO! Cashier lady called English speaking worker, he still insisted that the answer is "NO". In a very rude way. We asked to PAY for the cup. Still, not letting us. We only wanted to share in separate cup, our child is 2yr old. He likes having his own cup.

We have been to 4 other countries, and only in JAPAN do we always get NO for an extra cup. This location is first that was very rude about it.

We left and cancelled total order. No need to spens money at place that is rude, can't put customer first, and treats foreigners...
