Sushi Ichi — Restaurant in Nagoya

It was my first visit to this amazing sushi bar with my family. My parents in law are patrons of this bar and I’d heard a lot about food before the visit. Every single dish was extremely fresh and well presented to perfection. The chef even got me fresh horse and whale sashimi from the central market of Nagoya in accordance with my request which were absolutely delicious. The chef may be a bit crabby and stubborn as he has a strong passion about his dishes so some people might think he’s rude, though his attitude just stems from one principle that he wants to serve quality food. 地元の人達に愛されるお寿司屋さん🍣

1人だったのでカウンターの席に案内してくれました。(カウンターでゆったりしたかったので嬉しい)

平日のランチ(中)を注文しました。 目の前に並べられたお寿司はどれも新鮮で 養殖ではなく、天然だとの事。(すごい) 並べられたお寿司はどれも華やかな出で立ちで 「白身と玉子といくらは味がついているからそのまま(醤油つけずに)食べてね」と言われました。 言われた通り食べてみると玉子は優しい味がしてほっこり、白身は食べやすくしょうががいいアクセントになってました。 いくらは生臭い事が多く苦手でしたが とても甘くて思わず「美味しい」と呟いてしまいました。 どれもひとつひとつ味が際立っていてあっという間に完食。 他にも気になるのがあったのでおまかせで エビ(ボイル)とホタテの握りをお願いしました。 シャリも酸っぱ過ぎず甘すぎずでネタを引き立ていて美味しかったです。

初めてにも関わらず大将は色々気を使って話しかけてくださったり、人生相談に乗ってくれたりと面倒見が良くて明るく快活な方でした。 女将さんは朗らかで聡明なお方で 二人の話を聞いているだけでこっちが楽しくなってしまいました。
