10/2024 Very strange that you have to (I think?) drive on the sidewalk to park in front of the shop 😅 We almost drove into a tiny dead end, backed up and felt like criminals driving on the sidewalk BUT it seems that’s the correct and only way to get there… (lol)

Weekend afternoon. Unfortunately despite our (above) desperate attempts, there were two cars parked, so we parked over at the bank 🏦. Interestingly, there were close to no customers inside the cafe. The clerk lady didn’t seem so happy, but reminding myself that shop people tend to be shier in this part of the country, I decided I shouldn’t mind it. Friend started looking for seats and she bluntly told us to sit in the corner room (not a suggestion) and I felt slightly bad for the visiting friends

コーヒー、チョコレートやカカオパウダーを使った軽食の種類が豊富な、木調の内装や調度品が落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出すカフェです。店の目の前が県道29号線で、さらに目と鼻の先に県道82号線との交差点もあり、特に日中は車の往来が多いのですが、店内はそのような喧騒はほとんど感じず、快適にひと時を過ごせると思います。店内も広く、各席の間隔も広めに設定されています。単身で利用している人も少なからずおり、本を読んだりと思い思いのひと時を過ごしていました。その分客の回転はあまり良くないように見受けられますが、そもそもこのカフェの周辺は観光客などがあまり多く訪れないため、休日でもそれ程混雑している、という印象はありません。 注文カウンターで事前に注文し、支払いを済ませる必要があります。注文後は客席に注文したドリンクや料理が運ばれます。スタッフの数は多くは無いものの、いずれも余裕をもった接客対応であり、且つ必要以上にフレンドリーになることなく適度な距離を保った接客でした。 給仕されるコーヒーは、いずれも香り豊かで、味わいもまろやかなものが豊富なように見られます。酸味は少なめでコクのある味が特徴的であるように思います。チョコレートやカカオパウダーを使ったケーキなどの軽食も、見た目こそシンプルですが、奇を衒った味付けではなく、カカオの持つまろやかさを存分に活用していると思います。 出入口には段差があり、また手動で開閉する扉であるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。

The cafe is spacious, with a wide space between each seat. There are a few people who use the cafe alone, and they spend their time reading books and doing whatever they want to do. The turnover of customers does not seem to be good, but since not many tourists visit the area around the cafe, it does not seem to be so crowded even on holidays. You must order and pay in advance at the order counter. After the order is placed, the ordered drink or food is delivered to the customer's table. Although there are not many staff members, they are all very attentive, and they maintain a reasonable distance from the customers without being overly friendly. The coffee served was rich in aroma and mild in flavor. The coffee was characterized by a low acidity and a full-bodied taste. The cakes and other snacks made with chocolate and cacao powder are simple in appearance, but I think they make full use of the mellowness of cacao. This is a very relaxing place. They serve good hand-drip coffee and sweets. The owner provides a variety of coffee beans with good recommendation. The shop is designed with modern and simple furniture. Wooden benches ans bookselves made me feel like stay longer. Staff are very nice and they speak good English. Wifi is available and tables and chairs are good for works on laptop. It is 2 minutes walk from Shuri station and there are also 3 parking slots available. It's a good place after the visit to...
