There’s always a bit of a line from what I’ve seen, at all times of day, at least from random mid-afternoon until late at night. You write your name on a list outside and sit on benches. The wait isn’t too bad and it doesn’t feel packed at all when you get inside, which is nice—it’s very calm.
I asked the staff if they had chicken items and she pointed me to the right side of the first pages in the menu, then pointed out items 10-13 on the ticket machine—you push the button below the item you want, not in the picture of the food item. The dish I ordered was 1160 yen. I think it was probably chicken broth, but I’m pretty sure the meat was still pork, so there’s that. But the broth and seaweed and green onions, with the addition of toppings from the table, were very tasty even without considering the meat. They had a little sesame seed grinder, which I’ve never seen before. Also a nice red pepper powder and a smoky red chili oil, and marinated garlic cloves with a garlic press, and some other toppings.

Read moreTondou is ramen shop in Okinawa. I like this shop’s ramen the best I have ever eaten. This shop’s main menu is otokoaji ramen and onnaaji ramen. Otokoaji ramen is tonkotsu ramen and, onnaaji ramen is salt ramen. This shop has other taste ramen. For example, syoyu ramen, tsukemen, and so on. Side menu is fried rice, gyo-za, softcream, and so on. I like otokoaji ramen and onnaaji ramen. These taste is very good. And, this shop is famous for foreign people. When I went there, guest was almost foreign people. So, this shop divide the table between Japanese and foreign people. This shop has mini size ramen. This is different from other ramen shop. I have never seen mini size or half size ramen in other shop. So, this is good point of this shop. And, this shop’s service is good, because the serving food time is fast. I recommend you to go there if you...
Read moreBest ramen i ever had! The soup was light and not oily. The noodle taste so fresh and the soup sticks to the noodle. I been to a-lot of ramen places but this is best one so far. I had order fried rice and it was super yummy. The fried rice is big portion size. I'm glad i didn't order gyoza cause i wouldn't be able to finish both ramen and fried rice. I will definitely order gyoza next time. They do have English, Korean, and Chinese's menus on side of the ticket machine plus the staff knows little english. There wont be much language barrier. I would recommend coming in early when they first open. When i about to leave alot of people start coming in. Their hours are 11am to 1 am. I really recommend this Ramen restaurant to anyone who...
