Garyu-ya — Restaurant in Nakagusuku

The food is amazing, but if you dislike sweating while you eat I highly suggest you only visit during the winter months. I love this sukemen ramen, so in early June I visited there and the temp inside was miserable, we ended up leaving with out eating our food. Even the Okinawans were complaining about it being too hot, in nine years I have never heard those words come out of an Okinawans mouth. I’ve eaten here many many times. Both the ramen and tsukemen are delicious, but the tsukemen here is to die for. I absolutely love it. Another plus is the atmosphere is calm and service is fast. I’d recommend to anyone that is a noodle lover as I am.

魚介系ラーメンがメインのようです。 結論として美味しいです。

初めての来訪では、駐車場がちょっと分かりにくいです。 店の方に尋ねると、すぐ分かるのですが…。 店舗裏に第1〜第3まで用意されています。とりあえず店の裏を目指してください。

お昼2時頃人気があるようで、予約表に名前を記して、待ちます。

程なく入店して注文ですが、メニュー構成がちょっとわかりにくいです。

席前に設置されている札を選んでお店の方にお渡しして注文するのですが、ランチタイムサービス（白飯または大盛り）が、何なのか記されておらず、注文時にみそラーメンと大盛りの札をお渡ししたら、ランチタイムサービスで大盛りできますよ！と（そう表示してくれれば、分かりやすいのに…）。

さて、訪問時はみそラーメンをいただきました。 白味噌と店内には表示されていました。

ベースが豚骨、魚介、または両方なのか、素人の私は分かりませんが、味噌汁ラーメンみたいのが多い沖縄においては、濃厚で美味しい味噌ラーメンは貴重です。 ただ、スープがもっと熱々だと嬉しいかも。

あと、麺は腰があり、小麦感もあって美味しいです。

駐車場の位置と注文方法は分かったので、次は熱々スープのラーメンを期待して...
