HANYAMA CAFE（伴山カフェ） — Restaurant in Nanjo

Located next door to the Nanjo Art Museum, this restaurant has a spectacular view and a nice cozy atmosphere. The food serving size is very small and tastes normal. The serving size for the price is an insult, the reasoning is this is a mixture of French and Italian. I ordered the meat set and it came with only 2, yes only 2 slices of meat, for ¥2480, is not something I can understand. It did come with soup, salad and tea though. Orders are made by touchpad, which are very slow. Customer service was a plus, The Staff upstairs was very friendly and quick to clean away finished plates. There's plenty of parking because of the location. Overall, this is maybe a one time stop for me. If you're in the area, I would say stop in but don't go if you're very hungry. Stopped here for lunch because it was a beautiful day and we were in the area to go to Costco. Unsure if it’s like this every day but their lunch sets were soba based. They have tons of parking because they are connected to the Nanjo Art Museum. You do not need to purchase museum entrance to enjoy the cafe. I came here because online it looked like they had really good Italian pasta dishes and coffee. The restaurant even had a menu posted outside that matches what I saw online. But when I actually got there, the waiter handed me an Ipad and said they could only make two pasta dishes due to the time, but there was still two hours until close so I'm not sure why we were limited to only two dishes.
